This is a list of state roads and turnpikes ordered and constructed in the state of Ohio, from statehood to the early 20th century. Most of the remaining roads on this list are presently major thoroughfares in their respective areas.

History
editIn 1835, a state road was ordered to be constructed from Upper Sandusky, through Williamstown and Lima, to Shanesville, to intersect the state road from St. Marys towards Fort Wayne.
Wapakoneta-Kalida State Road

In 1848, the segment of the road between the mouth of the Mohican River and the first narrows of Owl Creek was ordered vacated.[7]

Duck Creek Saltworks-Uhrichsville State Road
