Dira ya Dunia is a news program in Swahili specific to East and West African countries Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, DR Congo, Congo, South Sudan where the language is spoken. This is the TV version of the flagship Dira Ya Dunia radio program on BBC World Service.
BBC World Service launched Dira ya Dunia on TV in 2012 August to BBC World Service’s partner TV stations - Star TV in Tanzania and QTV in Kenya[1].[2] The program also air on Wantanshi TV in the DRC and Raga TV in the DRC[3][4].
