Lebogang Teko Israel Spandeel (born October 13, 2000) is an South African rapper, songwriter, model and graphic designer. He is also the founder of Take Action.
Raised in Klerksdorp, North West , Talep began to gain recognition locally in 2015 after his first retail release, Endorsements alongside with Proto'Jay who was Talep's first rap friend in high school, they recored the song in Proto's bedroom, the song was produced by Roy Key (Proto's brother). The following year, he released D.R.E.A.M alongside with Tadda who was Talep's second rap friend, that's when Talep's decided to change his genre from Trap to Conscious Rap.
In 2018 Talepture was supposed to release his first EP titiled "ISRAEL EP" and he lost his girlfriend to epilepsy , so he decided to postpone it to 2021, reason being ? Talepture on our live interview said "That year is very special to me, my girl was born on the 21st & she died on the 21st , so yeah , but there's more to it yalls will find out that year , trust" so we'll have to wait for 2021 guys !
