Stefan Ivanov or Stephan Ivanov (born 5 August 1954[1]) is a Bulgarian cinematographer who has lived in Canada since the mid-1990s.[1]
Career
editIvanov graduated from the National Academy for Theatre and Film Art in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1982. One of his first films was the documentary Colors in the dark (1987), directed by Lyudmil Todorov. He is the cinematographer of 29 films, an actor in 14 others, and the director of La route devant. He was nominated for a Genie award in 2004 for his role in A Problem with Fear.[1]
The films Ivanov has been involved in were not generally well-received. The highest-rated of these is Genealogies of a Crime, with a 67% critic score and a 41% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes;[2] the lowest-rated of these is Code Red, with a 7% audience score.[3]
