A sauna complex in the Sahara:
Pretty complex!
The sauna is a small room or hut heated to 80 degrees Celsius. It is used for bathing as well as for mental and physical relaxation. This complex makes use of many small rooms and large rooms compartmentalized into smaller rooms. To get away from the high heats of the desert, relax in the steam and let the purifying begin.
The sauna has a long history and close relatives in other cultures: the Russian banya, the Native American sweat lodge or inipi, the Turkish hamam, even the Japanese onsen.
When taking part in a sauna always consider taking in a smaller towel to sit on.
