The March Ahead is an American Experimental rock band comprising of Johnny Franck (ex-singer of Attack Attack!) and Mike Caswell (singer of K Sera). The two met while Attack! Attack! and K Sera were on Van's Warped Tour 2010, and shortly after started writing music together.[1] They recorded their debut EP in March of 2011 in Connersville, Indiana with producer Joey Sturgis[2][3] (The Devil Wears Prada, Attack Attack!, Asking Alexandria), and have released 2 singles and a music video to date[4][5][6][7]; the full EP is expected to be released in summer of 2011. Franck and Caswell have repeatedly said that The March Ahead is a studio project and will not tour, but have alluded in interviews to playing festivals and select shows. The band has become a topic of controversy and debate among some Attack Attack! fans who believe the real reason Franck left Attack Attack! was to pursue the project.
