Pritchard Dining Hall

Pritchard Dining Hall is a dining hall at the UBC Okanagan campus in Kelowna, British Columbia. The dining hall opened in the fall of 2021.

Background

Pritchard Dining Hall opened in September 2021, seating up to 450 people. The Dining Hall is named after The Colin & Lois Pritchard Foundation that heavily contributes to the funding, growth and development of UBCO. The dining hall was created to help increase food security for students, provide healthy food, eliminate buyer’s remorse, improve sustainability and improve social interactions. There are three ways to dine in the hall: purchasing an all-access meal plan, using a student swipe card, or paying for meals using cash, visa or debit cards. The prices of meals for those without meal plans are listed below.

Food Stations

Pritchard Dining Hall feature multiple stations offering a variety of food options. The stations are open at different times during the day. Drinks and baked goods are available from 7:00am to 11:00pm daily. The hours of operation for each station are listed below.

Chef's Table

Chef's Table is open from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm every night. This station serves a dinner menu that changes every day. However, the menu often consists of a plant-based option, a protein option, a starch option and vegetables.

Pizza and Pasta

The pizza and pasta station is open from 11:30am to 9:30pm. This station serves a wide variety of pizzas including cheese, pepperoni, veggie and more as well as a variety of pasta and noodles like lasagna, mac & cheese, and spaghetti.

Nourish

Nourish is open from 11:30am to 3:00pm on weekdays. This station serves different types of food bowls every week. Their bowls often consist of tofu, vegetables, eggs, and grains.

The Grill

The Grill is open from 7:00am to 9:30pm daily. This station serves pan-fried and deep-fried food such as eggs, hash browns, bacon, and sausage for breakfast as well as french fries, quesadillas, burgers and more for lunch and dinner .

Plantopia

Plantopia is open from 11:30am to 9:30pm daily. The station serves healthy and plant-based options. Plantopia offers a selection of different cooked vegetables as well as starches like rice and quinoa .

Sweet Spot

Sweet Spot is open from 7:00am to 11:00pm daily. This station serves a wide variety of sweet treats including regular and gluten-friendly muffins, cakes, cookies, and many more desserts .
