Trump delusion syndrome (TDS) is a pejorative term for those who defend, or view in a positive way United States President Donald Trump despite overwhelming evidence and criticism to the contrary about his (minimal) policy positions, and actions undertaken by his administration.[2] The term has mainly been used by Trump scrutinisers to explain irrational defence of his actions, as a way of reframing the discussion by suggesting that his opponents are actually capable of accurately perceiving the world and his defendants largely insane or blinded by his perceived Trump delusion syndrome power.
