Personal: Austin is the son of John and Stephanie Kleba and has an older sister, Symphony Madison... Austin began skating at 3 ½ years old on hockey skates, and played competitive hockey for 12 years before transitioning to Glen Ellyn Speed Skating Club in 2014. Austin lists his inspiration for skating is five-time Olympic gold medalist Eric Heiden. Halfway through his junior year of high school Austin moved to Milwaukee to pursue Long Track Training at the Pettit Center. Father, John, is half Norwegian ... Mother 1/2 Scottish/Irish. Hobbies include; making music, down hill skiing, hiking, and biking.
