The Bob Hawk Show is an old-time radio variety show in the United States. It was broadcast on CBS and NBC beginning October 31, 1942, and ending July 27, 1953.[1]
Format
editHawk's program had a high level of intensity from audience involvement. A reviewer in the September 15, 1951, issue of the trade publication Billboard wrote: "The fact is that Hawk's audience is probably the most worked up gang in radio. And this adds up to what probably would amount to one of the noisiest — if not the noisiest — shows available."[2]
