The Electric Theater is an American old-time radio dramatic anthology series. It was broadcast on CBS from October 3, 1948, to May 29, 1949.[1] (The book Women in Media Careers: Success Despite the Odds says, "The Helen Hayes Theater was a weekly dramatic anthology that was on the air at various times from 1935 until 1946," but it does not give specific dates within that time frame.[2]
