Baltimore County Bank opened in 1927 and is situated at 500 York Road, on the north-east corner with Pennsylvania Avenue, in Towson. The bank is a large two-story squarish building constructed of fieldstone with stone details whose low-sloping roof is concealed behind a short uniform parapet. The central main entry is a shallow rectangular portico that frames an internal vestibule when the outer pair of massive bronzed doors are open during business hours. The facade facing Pennsylvania Avenue. The building was designed by John Ahlers of George Norbury MacKenzie III architectural firm in Baltimore and William H. Sands was the builder. This bank failed during the great depression.
