I was born in Columbus, Ohio, later moving to a small town in Champaign County, near Urbana. At the age of 12 I decided to become an author, and have written prolifically since then. I was homeschooled from the first grade on to the twelfth (attending kindergarten at a small private school attached to our Baptist church in Columbus) and graduated from Urbana University in December 2007 with a bachelor's degree in English. My future plans are to attend graduate school to achieve an MA or MFA in English literature. I would like to become an author, literary critic, and a university professor in the field of English and creative writing.
