Re: downloading as PDF
Moving to here to avoid clutter on WP:AN.
What made you think to test the metadata class first? It took me 5 tests to figure that out... – AJLtalk 08:00, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
- Actually, that was a result of six independent tests, I think; if you take a look at the diff again it will say "6 intermediate revisions by one user not shown", plus the other tests are documented in the page's history so you can take a look at some of them there. Secondly, I knew it had to do somewhat with the div_class because div_style and span is just basically to make the thing look nice, so it must be a problem with calling a particular "class", so to speak. :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 08:04, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
Smiled when I saw this
Thanks for this clever comment. I smiled when I read it. WhatamIdoing (talk) 20:49, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
- It was the spur of the moment. Thanks for stopping by to appreciate the little moments of Wikipedia wittiness. :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 04:26, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
Hang on
You probably didn't notice this discussion, which is still open, so no need to list it again. Frietjes (talk) 23:22, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
- Apologies, I had not realized, probably because it wasn't tagged with <noinclude>{{tfd}}</noinclude> and I forgot to check if any current Templates for discussion nominations were already opened about the issue. However, I think I'll leave mine open in case your proposal fails. :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 04:26, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
non admin closure of Laura Byrne
Hi, could I draw your attention to this comment from an administrator at ANI. diff as my integrity was challenged in a report at ANI I would prefer it if that AFD is closed by an administrator. Aslo as a ANI report was made I would also say that closure of the AFD naturally moves out of the non controversial closures that non admin closure is designed for WP:NAC - Off2riorob (talk) 09:30, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
- It was closed under Wikipedia:Speedy keep criteria #1, in which there did not appear to be an advancing argument for deletion; it could have been construed as one for merging. Regardless, if you think it is that controversial, feel free to revert me and I won't complain. :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 09:38, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
- I do think you should not have closed it - any AFD that has the nominator been reported to ANI would naturally be considered controversial and out of the range of non admin closure. Non admin closure in such situations when it is just not needed just adds to the controversy, but I am happy in this instance to just note that fact here and let it go but perhaps you would consider a little more not closing such discussions in the future - unless you become an administrator that is, regards. Off2riorob (talk) 09:44, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
I have reverted your close, per WP:NAC. In this case such an action is likely to cause more drama instead of less. The optimal solution as this time, is probably for Off2riorob to withdraw the nomination. As there has been no other delete votes, it could then be closed under SK#1. Featured Sounds needs you
Featured sounds was booming with activity in the March/April period, ideally that should be all the time. FS has been a battleground at times, however, it is my hope that that is in the past. I ask you all to reconsider your positions and set aside the differences you may have had with other participants for the good of the project and encyclopedia. Don't let FS become like VP, it is a path that a featured process should traverse. You were sent this message because you are listed at Wikipedia:Featured sound candidates/Contributors or have been a past contributor.

Deleting file redirects
Hi!
Unfortunately I'm not super human so my 20 deletes per minute have been done using a script. :)
Although I didn't use that database report to find the unused redirects, I did use another one that was more up-to-date so if you look at any of the images on that database report, most, if not all of them should have already been deleted (that list was last updated 3 day ago). I prefer to work as quickly as possible off a created list of file redirects, so that we don't get any conflicts with people who start to use the files after the report has been generated.
Thanks for notifying me about that page however, I didn't know it existed! :)
Hope this helps,

Newest FS
I declined the speedy deletion of this template because it wasn't clear to me that it was a true duplicatio of Template:POTD protected, but rather a template that happens to use Template:POTD protected. I could be wrong, though. I would recommend taking this to Wikipedia:Templates for deletion, so that the explanation for why it should be deleted can be clarified, rather than having it deleted speedily. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 00:52, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
