Mireille Miller-Young is a feminist and a professor of Feminist Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She is known for her research in race, gender and sexuality and how it pertains mostly to black women. She is the co-author of numerous books pertaining to black women sexuality such as "The Feminist Porn Book",[2] and the author of A Taste for Brown Sugar which looks at the history of black women in pornography using ethnographic means of research. Miller-Young advocates for the acceptance of black women sexuality. She is currently working on a documentary film on black women in the porn industry.[3]
