Kilg.us
Kilg.us is a web application for live tracking of baseball statistics for fantasy baseball teams. The application requires an account for use but is open to the public, free of charge. Kilg.us is social in nature, allowing users (known as "Owners") to create networks ("Industries") of users in which they can share access to track the stats of eachother's teams. The application undergoes constant development that is documented in a Tracker blog, offering an uncommon look behind the scenes of a web application's agile development.
History
editKilg.us was started April 26, 2008[1] as a personal project but soon expanded to a public scope. In 2009 features were added to grow Kilg.us into a social network service.
Technology
editKilg.us is built using the LAMP (software bundle) technology stack of Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP[2]. The application relies primarily on an object-oriented methodology.
