Thalleck was born in 1987. He believes strongly in what Wikipedia stands for: that all people should be able to have a free source of information containing verified facts. He knows that this is not always the case, on Wikipedia or in the world.
While attending West Genesee High School THalleck worked with friends on a spoof newspaper in the vein of the Onion, known as NEWS.
He graduated in 2010 from the University at Buffalo, working as Senior Reporter, News Editor and later Managing Editor for the campus newspaper, The Spectrum (newspaper). He interned at the Lockport Union-Sun & Journal and currently writes about technology for the International Business Times.
