The Sabang Free Trade Area and Free Port Authority, (Indonesian: Badan Pengusahaan Kawasan Perdagangan Bebas dan Pelabuhan Bebas Sabang) usually shortened to just the Sabang Area Authority (Indonesian: Badan Pengusahaan Kawasan Sabang; BPKS), is the governing body in Indonesia responsible for developing and managing the Sabang Free Port and Free Trade Area, a designated zone in Sabang that operates under specific regulations, benefits, and exemptions, to promote trade and economic development. The body is overseen by the Sabang Area Council, which is composed of representatives from the local government, including the Governor of Aceh, the Regent of Great Aceh, and the Mayor of Sabang.
