Yuval Segal (Hebrew: יובל סגל) is an Israeli actor, voice actor and screenwriter.
Biography
editSegal was born in Tel Aviv. In his youth, he studied at the Tel Aviv School of the Arts in the Theatre track, and at Alon High School in Ramat HaSharon in the Film track. Later on, he studied at the New Actors Workshop in New York, with acting teachers including Mike Nicholas, George Morrison and Paul Silesia. He served in the Israeli Defense Force as a military photographer in the Education and Youth Corps, where he met Ilan Rosenfeld, Oded Paz and Kobi Faraj, who he eventually starred with in HaPijamot. Yuval Segal is the son of Yosi Segal and the nephew of Shmulik Segal. He is also Eliana Tidhar's cousin.
Television
editSegal starred in the Israeli version of Sesame Street at 6 years old. In 1991, he starred in Yom Yoman, which aired on the Experimental Channel 2, which revolved around the adventures of Chester Cheetah and Hagit. Later on, he made guest appearances in Ma Shenikra and Kri'at Kivun, and in the drama series Seaton in 1995. He starred in HaPijamot in 2004 and 2006, which he served as a writer for in 2003. In 2007, He starred in Cafe Kar Sol and Our Town.
