Article Editing Ideas
editThe three articles I was considering taking on were as follows.
Each of these articles is incomplete in major areas. For instance, James Huston's page only has a few sentences, and the presentation of the little information that is there is completely disorganized. Jessie Wilcox Smith's article has a pretty heavy biography section, but doesn't describe her art style or technique, nor her impact on the world of children's literature. Also, there is some inappropriate bias on the article. Nothing serious, but the language is unfit for Wikipedia, and by the time anybody reads this, I will have fixed it. And lastly Jean Dupas' article is a mess like James Huston's article. Granted there is a little more information on it, but there is no portrait of the man, no organization of the page and no pictures of his work. The article is just a general rundown of the man, not detailed enough for one of the most prominent Art Nouveau and Art Deco artists. Dupas would be the main article I would like to work on, as more can be done with the article and I personally love Art Deco style.
