Hello, my background is in chemistry, with a main interest in petroleum. I have degrees in chemistry and computer science and have taught both subjects at the college/university level. As a graduate student I taught various organic chemistry courses for five years. I worked as a chemist for a major international oil company for 30 years, taught a college course in Decision Support Systems for four years and worked as a data management lead and database administrator for an engineering company for five years.
I speak English. I like to travel to Europe, particularly the Mediterranean countries. I have visited Italy (my favorite), Croatia, Monaco, Spain, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Russia, Finland and Sweden. I will be touring Corsica, Spain, Morocco and Madeira later this year. Next year I will be touring Holland and Belgium.
