Jonas Prejean (born September 29th 1981) better known by his stage name "The Bayou Boss"(Bah-U-Boss). Born to Creole parents in Lafayette Louisiana and raised in East Baton Rouge parish, he now resides in Kansas City, Missouri. Since 2001 "The Bayou Boss" has recorded 4 solo albums and 3 mix tapes with KC artist James "J-Sizzle" Minks. Along the way he took a position with Houston Texas Indie label ShowTyme Ent. as the V.P. of Operations which he would later resign.In the spring of 2010 The Boss teamed up with long time friend Deron "Vanngogh" Vann to start the power duo "THE BOSS GANG".After recording the first 3 songs to their first album "Where Loyalty Lives" they sent the tracks to tycoon local show promotion company "CrazyBoyStatus".After a few emails and meetings with CEO Troy Vanhorn, the Gang got to show the world what they had, opening up for Wiz Khalifa on his " Deal or No Deal " tour and also making an appearance on CBS’s one year anniversary show in March. Since then they have been working on ep's, mixtape's and features for other artist. Their 10 month run of performances has made the Bayou Boss a well rounded artist who’s now ready for whatever. He is currently in the process of recording his 5th solo album "Now or Never" due out in 2011. Also has done shows with Curren$y, Fiend, Smoke Dza, Big Krit, Mac Miller
