BBC Radio 9 News is a British national radio station operated by BBC.Specialising in News. Radio 9 News has non stop traffic, important news and secondary news(not as important). It is aimed at any age from 15-60 age group. BBC Radio 9 was launched 01:00am 5 March 2008.

editIn 01:00am 5 March 2008 the BBC aired their 12th british national radio station due to BBC Radio 3 having low audiances(0.01%)and BBC Asian Network having no audances.
First broadcast
editThe first DJ on BBC Radio 9 News was Scott Penifson who was a happy DJ style and made positive remarks about everything.The first jingle ever on BBC Radio 9 News was a bell ringing sound with Scott's name in a deep voice.

editToday BBC Radio 9 News has 0.6% of Audiences in the uk. The amount of views is rising very quickly and is predicted to have 8.5% of audances by 2015. On other radio stations there is only about 3-5 minutes of news every hour so BBC aired BBC Radio 9 News so people could listen to the new at any time not to wait for a long time.
