Rajrani Rawat is an Indian politician, born on 01 January 1970 in a Scheduled Caste family, her father was Late Shri Rameshwar Prasad who was a former headmaster. She has been a District Panchayat member from Bharatiya Janata Party for 10 consecutive years from 1995 and 1996. She had contested elections for Fatehpur, Barabanki assembly constituency (present KURSI Assembly) from BJP, after which in 1996 itself, she was nominated as member of the District Education Committee by the state Government.
In the year 2002, BJP again gave another chance to Smt. Rajrani Rawat from Fatehpur (Current Speaker) Legislative Assembly, Barabanki, which she won with a huge majority and in 2002 she was nominated as member of the Scheduled Caste/Schedule Tribe Legislative Committee. In the year 2007, Once again contested Fatehpur assembly constituency election from BJP .
Presently, Mrs. Rajrani Rawat is the Chairperson of the Member State Council and Chairperson of the District Panchayat (Barabanki) since 2021, and she is again contesting the 2024 Lok Sabha election as a BJP candidate from Barabanki Lok Sabha constituency.
