Positive Action For Christ, Inc. is based in Whitakers, NC. It is a Bible Curriculum publishing house as well as a training center for Bible teachers. Positive Action grew out of the youth ministry of Frank Hamrick at Falls Road Baptist Church, Rocky Mount, NC. In 1969 Frank gave his youth ministry the name "ProTeens." His first ProTeen club meeting was on October 4, 1969. Within two years several churches were using the materials Frank was writing for his ProTeen club. In 1972, with nearly 100 churches using his materials (in loose-leaf form), Frank incorporated his burgeoning ministry under the name Positive Action For Christ. Today, Positive Action is a world-wide ministry with Christian schools, home schools, and local churches using curricula published by Positive Action. [1]== References ==
