Devon Abner (2 February 1958) is an American actor and boom operator. He is known for his acting in the NBC sitcom comedy The Office as Devon Abner (2005-2006, 2013). He also worked as an boom operator for the drama A Little Crazy (2003). He got an drama desk nomination in 2006 for his role in The Trip to Bountiful
Abner begon his career in the drama Alone (1997). He went on to star into a numerous amount of drama projects including: Alone (1997), Love's Unfolding Dream (2007) and The Trip to Bountiful (2014). He also worked as an boom operator for the movie A Little Crazy.
Outside of his drama project Abner has also taken on a few comedic roles, including his guest appearance as Devon White in the NBC hit The Office (2005-2013) and his small guest appearance in sport show The League (2009-2015)
Devon Abner was born on February 2, 1958. He studied drama at Herbert Berghof HB Studio in Greenwich Village, New York City. He got married to his wife Hallie Foote from November 16, 1994. He is son-in-law of writer Horton Foote and Lillian V. Foote and brother-in-law of Walter Foote, Valerie M. Ford and Daisy Foote.
