Hankwang high school is a preparatory normal high school, located in Pyeongtaek city, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It was founded in 1955.

Hankwang high school's motto is "Hold big dreams in your mind, And be loyal to the small things around you"

History

• March 24, 1955 : Ministry of Education approved to establish Hankwang educational foundation

• January 9, 1963 : Ministry of Education approved to establish Hankwang high school as a coeducational school consists of 6 classes

• march 1, 1963 : First Principal Hong sung-young were appointed

• January 5, 1968 : The coeducational school system were seperated into Hankwang boy's high school and Hankwanh girl's high school

• August 30, 1980 : Class numbers are extended to 30

• May 17, 2010 : School yard improvement construction was completed

• 15,820 students have graduated this school until now(2010)

Facilities

1. Library

• There is a small library
• It's interior is really old and some dull tree smell spreads in there

2. Computer Lab

• There is two computer lab
• One of the two lab is allowed to use in class or lunch time for general student
• Computer labs are located in the dormitory constructure's 1st floor

3. School Cafeteria

• There is one two-story School cafeteria
• New school cafeteria is being built now

4. Art & Music classroom

• There is no art classroom
• There is one music classroom which consists of old tree made chairs and desks

5. Religion class

• Big religion class exists

6. Shared rest-rooms

• 1 rest-room in each floor

7. Dormitory

• 24rooms which can accept 8people in each room
• No beds
• Shared shower rooms are located in each floor from 2 to 4 which can accept about 19people
• One big study hall and 5mall study rooms exist
• 4 lecture classrooms in 1st floor
• 1 Computer lab is allowed to use(another one is not)
• Needed some mental strength to endure patently absurd things
