Intro Survey
Hello again, Drk Guy. If you could, please answer these questions to the best of your ability. The more information you give me, the more I'll be able to help you find a good place to get started. Naturally, don't spill your life story - remember this is still the internet, and anyone could read this page. So, if you don't feel comfortable answering something, don't worry, just skip it.
- What subjects interested you in school? History, English, Math, Sports, etc.?
- If you currently hold a job, what do you do? If not, what would you like to do?
- Where do you live? (For privacy reasons, please don't be too specific. I'm just looking for country and/or state/province. If you happen to live in a large city, go ahead and include that if you want, but otherwise don't post your hometown.)
- Are you good at reviewing other people's work (such as for grammar, spelling, style, or for grading)?
- How patient are you?
- What are your feelings about vandalism?
- Are you comfortable using Wikimarkup yet, or do you still need some time getting it to work?
- What do you expect your online editing frequency to be? A few pages every day, on the weekends only, online every few days, etc.
Questions? Here are my answers...
- I like Physics, History, Technology, and Maths (Somewhat)...
- My hobby is the pc, i like to be on it as much as i can ;)
- I am a student, but i would like to be a computer engineer someday...
- I live in Bello, Antioquia, Colombia.
- I try my best to do that ;)
- In a scale from 1 to 10, i would make a 7.5
- Vandalism must be replaced with colaboration, but cannot be exterminated, because then we wouldnt have anything to fight...
- As you can see i have some skill with that, the sandbox and the tutorials helped...
- A few pages everyday, not too much, as i still have an online reputation to care about ;)
Hope i fulfill your expectations... :)

Thanks for the reply, here are a few things I've noticed...
- First, be sure to use the "Show Preview" button before clicking "save page" to make sure everything shows up the way you want it to. After 4,000+ edits, I still find myself using the button, just in case.
- As you can see above, your "my hobby is the pc" -- it shows up funny -- the reason is that when you begin a paragraph with a "space" it puts your text in block form. Unless you are specifically trying for this effect, make sure that you begin all paragraphs without a space;
- Really interesting reply regarding vandalism. :)
- Be sure to use a proper signature via ~~~~ every time you post on a talk page (or even here). You can customize your signature to show-up however you like - if you want help let me know.
- Be sure to always use an edit summary - you can set your preferences to remind you if you try to save without providing one. This is a big help to other editors.
One last intro question: how do you expect to contribute to wikipedia? Beyond simply creating articles or adding content, do you see yourself getting involved with reverting vandalism, resolving conflict of interest, etc?
Beyond this, I'll be looking at your recent contributions, and see what Wikipedia guides may be helpful for you to review.

- I would like to contribute in any way i can, editing articles, resolving conflicts, fighting vandalism... anything.
BTW: Edited your last comment to fix a typo lol lol, teh Drknezz was here 22:39, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
