Q10:Newspapers have reported that this article and a lot of the global warming articles are being controlled and manipulated. Why don't we report that?
Good question. Here's the current Official Wiki-answer:
"The items in question are opinion columns by James Delingpole and Lawrence Solomon.... "
Classic straw man ploy -- pick something absurd, concentrate on that. Don't watch that pea under the thimble! A specialty over at Real Climate.
<rant> At some point, we may have to mention that, er, there could be some teeny problems with the Phil Jones University (etc) um, "value added product". Could the CWP be (just a tad) exaggerated? Could trillion-dollar carbon-reduction schemes possibly be overkill? Could climate scientists generous public support be trimmed? Could we send Al Gore back to his Tennessee farm, to live on his zinc royalties? Could the Wikipedia climate-change articles achieve NPOV???
This kind of sanctimonious whitewash gets me a little wound up, so.... </rant>
I'm working on it, with a few thousand other guys. RS's will eventually catch up. Patience!
