editToby Nyland is a British student, born in England in 2007. He mainly known for his interviews on BBC Bitesize's.[1] [2]TikTok and Instagram as well as his live interviews on BBC Radio 1 where he spoke about GCSE exams.
Pre recorded BBC Interviews
editThe first of the BBC Interviews took place on the 8th March 2024. Nyland was asked many questions about the upcoming GCSE Exams which held place in between 9th May 2024 to the 19th June 2024[3]. The first of the interviews were on BBC Bitesize's TikTok on 17th April 2024[4]. From there multiple interviews featuring Nyland were posted amassing hundreds of thousands of views across TikTok and Instagram.
BBC Radio 1
editAfter the success of the Pre recorded interviews, Nyland was invited onto BBC Radio 1 where was interviewed live. His first live interview was on 27th April 2024 with Radio 1's Lifehacks. The contents of that interview could of been found on BBC Sounds before it was automatically removed 31 days after the interview. The content of the interview can now be found through a screen recording posted on YouTube [5] . After the GCSE exams took place and GSCE Results Day[6] (which was on the 22nd August 2024), Nyland was asked once again to come onto BBC Radio 1's LifeHacks on the 25th August 2024. He spoke about his GCSE Results, tips for the next school year to take GCSEs and how he earnt his RLSS NPLQ over the summer. Interview was published on BBC Sounds, but has been removed and on YouTube[7]
