powers and abilities
editBurnt face man has, in certain episodes, been shown to possess the ability to fly, he has also been shown to possess an element of strength. On one occassion he was shown to be confused on which of his powers to use in order to save a falling baby, he mistakenly tries to use his laser vision, (to catch a baby...?), which he doesn't have and this leads to the baby's unfortunate death. another power he has been shown to possess is the ability to run really fast, using speed of the puma. Burnt Face Man can also emit a sonic blast which is strong enough to knock over a man. In 1 episode, it appears that Burnt face man has a special "sense" - Like/parody of the Spiderman's "Spidy Senses"
Episode summaries
editEpisode 1
editThis episode introduces Burnt Face Man as a man with superpowers who hates crime. He finds a random man at a desk and asks him if he is a "crime-inal." The man says that he is not a "crime-inal" and then reveals soon after that he is by punching BFM and jumping out of the window. Burnt Face Man then proceeds to spit on the man's desk and read his emails.
Episode 2
editThis episode begins by introducing BFM as a super hero with a sidekick, but the announcer is promptly corrected by BFM as BFM doesn't have a sidekick. The real action begins when a woman is shown screaming for help because her baby is falling off of a tall building. BFM arrives and assures her that his laser vision will catch the baby. The baby is then shown smashing bloodily into the ground as BFM remembers that he doesn't "have that power."
He then flies to a man who insists that his girlfriend is trapped in a burning building and that BFM should save her and that he will, in return, give BFM a Sega GameGear. BFM refuses the offer because he laughs in the face of danger and proceeds to fly into the building even though he does not see any fire. BFM then realizes that it was a trap and that Man-Spider and Bastard Man (the "crime-inal" introduced in Episode 1) have ambushed him.
The two villains give him some cheese that he eats and they are surprised to see that BFM is unaffected by the apparently tainted cheese. Bastard man then pokes BFM's burnt face and calls him "Burnt Gay Man" and says that he is "probably gay". BFM defends himself by saying that he has a calendar with pictures of naked women on it at home and punches Bastard Man who cries for help from his accomplice. Man-Spider thinks on his feet and improvises by throwing a rock and hitting BFM in the head with it. This angers BFM because it is not fair and he flies away to tell on the two villains, who decide that they will lie and say that it wasn't them.
Episode 3
editThe villain bastard man and his sidekick man-spider create an odour that descends upon Frypan City. The odour is described as smelling like "fried piss", as well as "a dead breast", "bear shit", "bacon cooked in piss" and "a bag of dead cats". The villains name the odour Peduran, because it "sounds like it smells".
Burnt face man arrives, only for Bastard Man to accuse him of making the smell, followed by unleashing "Anger Man" upon the unsuspecting hero. After being defeated by Anger Man's "golden shower" attack, Burnt Face Man leaves, humiliated and soaked in urine.
The episode ends with BFM adding "Rockhead Rumple" to his list of villains, who insists that he is neither a hero or villain, despite killing a civilian for crossing him on the other side of the road. Rockhead Rumple begs BFM to take him off the villain list, repeatedly calling him a "dickhead" in the process.
Episode 4
editThe introduction to this episode briefly details the adventures of Burnt Face Man and Haddock Boy- with Haddock Boy having apparently been kidnapped in the previous episode. Burnt Face Man then interrupts, saying that none of this ever happened.
In the episode's true opening scene, Burnt Face Man is shown receiving "electronic messages" on his computer from Bastard Man, containing insults such as "LOSER", "COCK-WASHER" and (at the suggestion of Man-Spider) "PISS LIPS". Burnt Face Man subsequently blocks Bastard Man on Messenger.
After checking his "Crime Monitor" (a long and frustrating process), it is revealed that Bastard Man is throwing eggs at people from his window. However, before Burnt Face Man can save the day, the crime is prevented by BFM's new rival: Slightly Bruised Man.
Following a brief confrontation with Slightly Bruised Man, Burnt Face Man is regarded as an inferior hero and humiliated when it is revealed that he has only one fan- a small Asian man that has made him pate from his own nasal hair and yeast. As a result, Burnt Face Man resigns as a superhero. This is shown as being good news for Taps Man, a villain regarded as being too pathetic for Slightly Bruised Man's attention, who is now free to "splash people" and "erode metal over a period of time".
