From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
:-)
Hi, I'm TonySt. I joined Wikipedia in 2005 after hearing about it on Slashdot. The concept of a free encyclopedia that anyone can edit sounded revolutionary, and I wanted to help. It turned out to be an even bigger deal than we realized at the time.

Most of my efforts here involve helping to fix vandalism, unsourced things about people, and spam. If I've undone your edits and you think I made a mistake, please let me know so we can talk about it.

Besides patrolling new edits, I also help improve articles with copyediting and sourcing. Recently I enjoyed creating the article for one of my favorite books.

I've written a few user scripts. The one I'm most proud of is Interceptor, which is a tool that helps people fight vandalism.

If you don't already have an account, please consider joining our revolution. Information wants to be free.
