Toomim

I am Michael Toomim. I am a Computer Scientist and Psychologist. I studied at U.C. Berkeley and the University of Washington, and currently reside in Berkeley. My mission in life is to understand.

I am politically liberal, but seek to understand people's viewpoints from all political orientations. I believe that empathy is not endorsement, and that we can understand the perspectives of people with whom we disagree.

I first became interested in Wikipedia as a PhD student in Human-Computer Interaction. However, I've recently found myself becoming invested in it personally. I hope to develop my wisdom and improve as a person through my interactions with y'all. Thank you!
