The Charters Towers Regional Council first established the event in 2008 as a community Heritage Festival, and has now moved into a community Healthy Lifestyle Festival.[1] The event in 2012 will be held on 11 August, and begins with Cycling Time Trials at Weir Rd, followed by a Critirum at Lissner Park.
