- In the show Max Headroom, the reporter Edison Carter frequently uses a Gazelle to travel to news locations over the apocalyptic chaos below.
- One Aérospatiale Gazelle with SFRY Air Force markings was in a Coca-Cola animated comercial which was a parody of the Grand Theft Auto game series. At the very end of the commercial a helicopter is seen passing over the screen with troops jumping out. The helicopter has a very clear SFR Yugoslav roundel on it's side. 1
