Kalli is an Icelandic musician (real name Karl Henry), signed to One Little Indian Records.

Without Gravity

edit

Without Gravity were an Icelandic band fronted by Kalli who released one album, 'Tenderfoot', on One Little Indian in 2005. They spent two years touring and testing the songs before they recorded them[1].

Solo Career

edit

Following the break up of Without Gravity, Kalli started writing new songs for a solo project that would eventually becoming his first solo album, 2007's While The City Sleeps[2]. It was recorded in Kalli's hometown of Reykjavik and he recorded, performed and produced everything on the album himself[3]. This album led to many comparisons with the likes of Elliot Smith, Jeff Buckley and Neil Young[4].

In 2010, Kalli travelled to Nashville, Tennessee to begin work on his second LP. Produced by Kurt Storey at Burns Station Sound Studio, Last Train Home is due for release on August 8th 2011 via One Little Indian[5].
