subtitleeditor (aka Subtitle Editor) is an open-source subtitle editor for the GNU/Linux/*BSD desktop.[1] It is a tool to create or edit subtitles in films and moving pictures.
Subtitle Editor is free software released under the GNU General Public License version 3 or later.
About
editMost subtitles of films available on the internet are created in .srt format, so it is easy to create or edit subtitles. Alternatively, you can user plain text editors along with this software. By this editor, you also change time duration, synchronizing time by scaling and more. As integrated main window with GStreamer, it can play videos using the editor.
