Troutwood is a financial technology company, founded in 2019 out of the Carnegie Mellon University Swartz Center for Entrepreneurship. Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the company builds financial planning and investment education tools around a philosophy of "save first financial planning." The company's flagship mobile application (Troutwood), offers a "plan builder" and "comparison" feature.
