True Crime dominates our world like never before. With technology at our fingertips iit is not difficult to find. Nor is the societal controversy that surrounds the subject of True Crime. But now we have a new vice. A new way to categorize True Crime from plain jane to Serialized. True Crime Serialized promises something more. True Crime Serialized or TCS, obligates itself to those who thirst for their next True Crime fix. The word Serialized implies a succession of True Crime. Meaning more True Crime to come continuously. Or, True Crime Serialized.

Let's take a moment and talk about the peril of TCS. Society wants to be safe. Authority wants to keep society safe. From the local cop shop to the feds. The department of corrections pledge written on any lobby wall across the country proudly displays the oath to protect and keep safe the community it sits in. So it stands to reason that folks might take a look at what crime is taking place and the human reaction to it. Asking questions like "Is True Crime Serialized  good for our children?" Or, "Are serial killers being glorified?" "Shouldn't we protect our communities from the shock value that comes with TCS?" Valid questions all. And yet, are we missing the point? Are we throwing the baby out with the bath water? Something tells me I should climb out the window and start looking.

Hat in hand, I sternly but calmly wish to offer clarification. A truth if you will, that will not be popular.
