I am pleased you have opinions. I am not here to entertain them. Unlike just about every other forum or community I've participated in, I'm really not interested in arguing some inane pedantic nonsense on talk pages all over WP only to stumble into screeching accusations of unprovoked personal attacks and outright psychological abuse. If you're here to pick nits on an edit I made or an opinion I expressed on a talk page, feel free to leave a comment on my talk page.
What I will do:
Contribute any information or expertise I deem worthy of inclusion in what is at least, on paper, supposed to be an encyclopedic resource.
Politely discuss past or pending edits, talk page commentary/suggestions and any other facets of WP community in which I involve myself.
Socialize with people who share common interests should they be willing to do so and able to keep me interested.
What I will not do:
Join a WP Project or group or any other sort of focused taskmastering collective -- I am simply too busy day-to-day to make any sort of commitments to the internets.
Spend more than 20, 30 minutes a day max editing, responding or otherwise communing with Wikipedia -- see above.
Entertain any of the myriad ways Wikipedians create drama and discontent, including flamewars, revert wars, and sockpuppetry -- if you are looking for a suitable Internet Samurai to test your mettle, perhaps EFnet is more your speed.
