Hello,

Originally from the Philadelphia, PA area I now reside in Portland, OR.. Prior to the Pacific Northwest I lived abroad in New Zealand for five years. The Christchurch earthquakes of 2010-2012 gave my family ample reason to relocate.

Born into a family of entertainment producers, The Latin Casino and Electric Factory Concerts, much of my youth was spent in and around the music industry. Later in Pennsauken, NJ and Fremont, CA I worked for Disc Makers, an optical media manufacturer producing CDs, CD-ROM and DVDs for independent artists.

After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania I worked at Temple Medical School in conjuction with St. Christopher's Hospital performing physiological research and was published in Pediatric Research in 1995.

While in New Zealand, along with my life partner Sharon Moliken, I founded Earthwise Gourmet, an artisan crafted, small batch, traditional foods kitchen. Earthwise Gourmet manufactured and sold at The Riccarton Bush Farmer's Market, The Opawa Farmer's Market, and the Art Centre Farmer's Market. Foods sold were sauerkraut, pate, granola, flatbreads, scroggin, kombucha, kefir soda, and bone broths. Earthwise Gourmet kombucha is now produced and sold as WabiO Kombucha. It remains the brainchild of tea specialist Jo Bind, of the Ya Ya Teahouse.

I'm presently involved in nutritional education. Along with Sharon Moliken and Sandrine Love I manage the Portland Chapter of The Weston Price Foundation.

That's it for now. I hope to know to write a decent Wikipedia page by the time the sun sets today!

Wish me luck.
