Born 1990 in Uganda, Twinoweitu Ivan attended Ronnie and Viola Kindergarten for Pre-primary. He then attended Gayaza Church of Uganda primary school up to 2002. In 2003,Twinoweitu was admitted in Kigezi High School with Aggregate 6; where he later studied History, Economics, Divinity and entreprenuership between 2007 and 2008. A celebrated Academician in his class of 44 Students, he emerged 2nd best in Kabale district with an A,A,B,C respectively. He then joined Kyambogo University where he graduated with an bachelor's in Arts with Education as a History/Religious Education teacher in 2012. While in Kyambogo, he was actively involved in student leadership as the General Secretary of the Christian Union. His Lecturers like Dr. Matovu, Rev.Joy Isabirye and Prof. Mpagi remember him for his brilliance as the best performing student at the Department of Religious Studies in his year.
Ivan has been involved with Gayaza High School since July 2012 and currently teaches history at the school.
His interests outside class are public speech, debates, life skills training and agricultural entrepreneurship.
