Project Reset .ORG is the startup of a faith based parole release shelter that will service the San Antonio,Texas area, providing a stable medium term transitional living facility paired with a wildlife animal rescue, rehab, and release center serving the southcentral Texas area. Special consideration is being applied to applicants with a history of drug related offences, with the shelter providing onsite substance abuse counculing, support groups and prevention programs. Prisoners within the Texas Department Of Justice System will be able to register for shelter when they approach their parole hearings, and every case will be considered. The Wildlife Center will provide a empowering emotional tool in returning these people being released from Prison into modern American society, and give them a fighting chance to become self reliant, without the pressure of returning to the same neighborhoods that they fell from.
Created by Ronald K. Sarver of Bexar Co. Texas, Project Reset will combined two important resources serving its local area with several wide ranging programs that will greatly add to the community, both sociologically and ecologically . Having seen first hand the social pressure upon parolees and the homeless as they return to drug-infested areas of San Antonio, he has vowed to provide a resource for homeless to return to self-sufficiency and stable living that is away from the metropolitan area and rurally located. Project Reset is that source, and this article was written at it operational incept.
