USA_Dragon (AKA Dragonroar AKA "Dragon")
editWhat is USA_Dragon?
USA_Dragon is a multi-player game host in the online world of Microsoft and Gas Powered Games Dungeon Siege (version 1) (see fig. 1), deticated to hosting "legit" games (games of no cheating of any kind) and not allowing modifications of the characters of players, resources of the game itself, downloaded characters that others have posted, nor clans advertisements (in character name or user name) of any kind join.
About ZoneMatch
Dungeon Siege (see Fig. 2) is a roleplaying game type game and allows the host only 8 players during a multi-session (see Fig. 3). USA_Dragon has hosted games since near its relase in 2001 and has continued to host on and off daily. Many users and hosts have copied USA_Dragon's titles and methods, enhansing the ZoneMatch site.
How is this host's game regulation handled?
Usually this host will run games of lower experience point levels (normal level 0 - 53) with the health (hit points) and mana (magic points) (that means to add both values) below 2200 total maximum. (see Fig. 4) This host will often pause or even quit the game if illegal action is present. They do not allow abusive behavior, language, nor general bad manners. Often this causes players to leave - Others come just because of this. Minor violations include vulgar or sacreligous player or user names, begging, talking in capital letter lock (caps lock), taking items from other player's monster "drops", killing other player's monsters they've been working on, destryoing too many monsters while in a team, using illegal spells ("boost", "damage boost spells", "mob spells", "monster spells", or "gom spells"), prefix/suffix aka "mana boost"/"death boost" potions, and using illegal items - both from maps higher then itself (i.e. no veteran map items in a normal map game) or edited/modified items (i.e. helm of storms, reaper, or high damage items such as "of agony".)
How can I contact this host?
The easiest meathod is to run a Dungeon Siege game and enter the multiplayer section, choosing "ZoneMatch" (you will then connect (see fig. 5) after you choose a sign-in name - the button is in the upper right of the screen), then adding USA_Dragon to the friend list (the add button is on the bottom right of the screen) to find if they are online or not. When you know they are online, you can see if they are in a game by pressing "games" then the "friends" tab (see fig. 6) once you have added their name. To message them you double-click their name in the friend listing and type a message and press the "send" button.
Is there anything else I should know?
This host speaks English but will sometimes translate via external source to read another language and converse back in their language, if requested. They expect you to read the game title's name before joining their game because it tells you the rules of the current game and it's requrements. If you contact them via the message system and they don't know you already, you must understand that they cannot message you back if they are within a game already - you would have to message them at another time or try to talk to them within the hosted game. If the game is locked then there is usually trouble or they wish to have a small game. You may message them to come in but you cannot expect it. Often the game will be opened and closed on many occasions in the same game so you can keep trying periodically. The host expects that you check the game information before you join as well. It shows the settings of the game as well as who has joined. Click the refresh button to see if different people have joined if it has been a few minutes.
