Derick Aries
NWANAGU JOHN OKWUCHUKWU (born March 25 1997) known professionally as DERICK ARIES is a singer, songwriter, entertainer. He started off as a songwriter in Benin city but only made up his mind to take up singing when he realized he was good at music composition. He then recorded and put out 'Wave', 'Weaken' and ‘Broken Rules' in Benin City.

Early Life
Derick Aries was born in Benin city in Nigeria, he spent most of his teenage years in Anambra state and later relocate to Benin city. Derick Aries wouldn’t be the first to attempt music in his family as his father made a career as a music distributor and recording in the 70s, 80s.
Derick Aries started music as a teenager, rapping and freestyles and video freestyle cover of wizkid joro, Davido Risky, Bunerboy anybody and other freestyles then he got started learning branding and how to market his products. In 2019, he recorded and put out ‘weaken' and in 2020 he release ‘Wave’ and they enjoyed good spins on his hometown radio stations.
