Ulla Reimer

Ulla Reimer is a French visual artist and photojournalist, born in 1956 in Frankfurt, Germany. She has worked for over 40 years, all across the globe.

Biography

At the age of 16, she started as a news photographer for the Frankfurter Nachtausgabe in Germany where she reported about musicians and production companies.

She then founded her own press Agency CINETXTE and soon acquired fame as a portraitist of Mickey Rourke, Harrison Ford, Jane Fonda, Patrick Dewaere, Michael Douglas, John Huston, Alain Delon, Jean-Luc Godard, Harrison Ford, Gérard Depardieu, Michel Piccoli, Nastassja Kinsky etc.

She then decided to devote herself to art photography ^[1] ^[2]and soon had her first solo-exhibitions^[3].

Today, Ulla Reimer lives between Asia and Europe^[4].

Besides her own artistic work, she teaches photography and coaches business-teams with teambuilding-sessions around creativity.

Ulla Reimer is involved in many humanitarian activities and child creativity developement programs^[5]^[6].

Career

1973-1986: photographer for Paramount, 20th Century Fox, CanonFilm

1896: beginning of personal career, exhibitions

1989-2018: several multimedia-projects for Fondation de France, Hessischer Rundfunk, Plus Télé Luxembourg et Allemagne, Radio France Provence, Télé M6, Télé Montecarlo, Radio juive Marseille, Design TV South Korea, KBS, MBC etc.

1989-2018: personal work & teaching, workshops, teambuilding-sessions for enterprises ^[7].

1993-1995: shootings for Lufthansa in Japan, USA, Caribbean Islands, Europe. 1996: Publishing of the Lufthansa book with Cantz Publisher^[8]^[9].

2005: Work for the Fondation de France: artitstic and pedagogic work with 6 Schools.
