Gravitation

What is gravitational Force?

Gravitation is a force that exists among all material objects in the universe. For any objects or particles having nonzero mass, the force of gravity tends to attract them towards earths centre. (Under the influence of gravitational force of earth). Gravitational force operates on objects of all sizes, from subatomic particles to clusters of galaxies. It also operates over all distances, no matter how small or great. i.e. Sun, Planets, Satellites.

Circular motion

Circular motion is a movement of an object along the circumference of a circle or rotation along a circular path.

Centripetal force

A force acting on any object moving in a circular path and force directed towards the centre of the circular path around which object is moving. It is called ‘Centripetal Force’. Centripetal means center seeking, i.e. Force which is pulling objects towards center of circular path.
