Usman Mallam Hussaini was born on 25th September, 1987, at Garangamawa quarters, Dandago ward, Gwale local government area, Kano state of Nigeria.

Hussaini, studied B.Sc. (Ed.) Health Education at Bayero University, Kano (BUK), and currently a postgraduate student who studies M.Sc. Public Health at National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).

studied numerous professional courses at different institutions including Introduction to Epidemiology for Global Health; Fundamentals of Global Health Research; Leadership and Management in Health and Economic Evaluation in Global Health at the University of Washington, participated in many programs organized by World Health Organization (WHO) and other institutions in Nigeria and beyond.

However, Usman Mallam, is an independent researcher whose work focuses on research and development for the benefits of both local and international communities. He published some of his articles in different journals both national and international.

Usman, is currently a member of different associations both locally and internationally, such as National Association of Health Educators (NAHE) and the International Association for Community Development (IACD) etc., he is committed to study for making positive changes in his local and global communities.
