A little bit about me

I am currently a student at the University of Washington studying Informatics: Human Computer Interaction. I have been in the open source community for years, contributing to Massively Multiplayer Online games such as Wyvern and Daimonin. I am currently developing my own game for android.

I am doing my capstone research on touchscreen interactions as well as using simple video games as a medium for HCI empirical research. I aim to finish this research at the University of Washington in the spring quarter of 2012.

I am a techie guy. I enjoy video gaming, coding and creating intuitive things, and making websites that work well. I'm also addicted to game development. Having started with Wyvern in 2003, moving on to Daimonin some time in 2004, and developing there until 2008, I have developed quite the taste for all aspects of game development: Coding, Asset Creation, 3D Modeling, Level Design, Documentation, etc. While most of my professional experience is dedicated to web development technologies, I also have a fair bit of experience with compiler languages such as Java, C#, etc. This, combined with self-taught image manipulation skills, rounds out my skill-set as an Informatics student and User Experience Developer.

When I'm not inside on a computer, I enjoy playing tennis and soccer in beautiful weather (as that's the only time I would forfeit my computer of course).
