Robert "Bob" Barrows is an aircraft designer, mechanical engineer, aircraft engine builder, and A&P licensed aviation mechanic.[1]
He is the designer of the Bearhawk Patrol, Companion,[2] 4-Place, and Model 5[3] light aircraft and the Bearhawk LSA light-sport aircraft.[4][5] Prior to designing the first aircraft in the Bearhawk series, the 4-Place, Bob designed and built a STOL high wing plane and an aerobatic biplane.[5]
In April 2019, Bob was injured in a landing accident in his own Bearhawk LSA design.[6]
